TaosExperience video on taosnews.com

The Taos News has decided to start running some of my videos on their website. For some reason, I can't download the one they have residing on their site (Quicktime problems -- both on my Mac and the PC, which is odd), but I have no trouble viewing my videos hosted by youtube.com.

The exposure is helping my view numbers, but not that significantly. Let's see if continued advertising helps things out at all.

Hitting the streets

Well, I've finally gone and done it -- I bought a display ad in Tempo to promote TaosExperience.com. The ad is simple, yet compelling. It says "See Taosenos on Youtube. Go to TaosExperience.com." And I use the Youtube logo.

Meanwhile, I'm keeping a daily log of video views, and I'm proud to say I've been at this for a little more than a month, and some of my videos have broken the 700-view mark. This is exciting.

Another development -- Ms Isabel Scott, aka Lokey, aka LuLu, has taken on a new project -- U.S. Space -- in the old Wisdom Cup space on St. Francis Plaza in Ranchos. Watch this location become a seething hotbed of creativity and energy inthe months to come.

Straightening out the YouTube.com accounts

I've been making videos all weekend and last week I made a separate account for TaosExperience so it could be separate from my own stuff. the best way to find them is by

http://youtube.com/user/taosexperience
http://youtube.com/user/mromancito

I'm logging all the views in the morning and in the evening so I can have a more realistic picture of what's getting seen. Some videos are getting picked up by a wider audience than just Taos.

There's also a new feature (to me, at least) of being able to string together several videos, then embed that into a webpage.
